Croatian-Slovenian Ethnological Parallels
Vzporednice med slovensko in hrvaško etnologijo
Croatian-Slovenian ethnological encounters Hrvatsko – slovenske etnološke paralele (Croatian-Slovenian Ethnological Parallels) took place between 1981 and 1991 in Croatia and Slovenia alternately. Ethnological Parallels were revived again in 2004, after fifteen years. The goal of these encounters is learning about with current disciplinary trends and ethnological research of border regions, as well as reflecting on the role of ethnologists and impact of ethnology in contemporary societies of Croatia and Slovenia.

Motovun 2004
The conference in Motovun was held in April 2004. The members of the organizing committee were Ines Prica, Tomislav Pletenac and Sanja Kalapoš Gašparac.
Kozjansko 2006
The conference in Kozjansko was held on May 25th and 26th. The members of the organizing committee were Breda Čebulj Sajko, Slavko Kremenšek, Alenka Černelič Krošelj, Ivanka Počkar, Helena Rožman, Zora Slivnik Pavlin, Željka Jelavić and Zvjezdana Antoš.
Varaždin 2008
The conference in Varaždin was held from 29th till 31st of May in the Hercer Palace of the City Museum Varaždin, followed by a field trip to Međimurje on June 1st. The members of the organizing committee were Željka Jelavić, Lidija Nikočević, Sanja Potkonjak, Nevena Škrbić Almepijević, Helena Rožman and Tanja Roženbergar Šega.
Krško 2010
The conference was held at the Krško Town Museum on October 29th and October 30th. The members of the organizing committee were Janez Bogataj, Alenka Černelič Krošelj, Jože Hudales, Tanja Roženbergar Šega, Helena Rožman and Željka Jelavić.
Duga Resa 2012
The conference was held from September 23rd till September 25th. The members of the organizing committee were Marijana Belaj, Zoran Čiča, Anita Matkovič, Tita Porenta and Nevena Škrbić Alempijević.
Doljenjske Toplice 2014.
The conference was held at the Cultural Convention Center in Dolenjske Toplice from Septemer 9th till September 11th. The members of the organizing committee were Katalin Munda Hirnök, Špela Ledinek Lozej, Martina Piko-Rustia, Anja Serec Hodžar, Luka Šešo, Jadranka Grbić.
Lug, Baranja 2016
The conference was held at the Lug hotel from October 1st till October 4th. The members of the organizing committee were Klementina Batina, Jasna Fakin Bajec, Tihana Petrović Leš, Saša Poljak Istenič, Anja Serec Hodžar, Žarko Španiček, Ana Wild.
Mojstrana 2018.
The conference was held at the Mojstrana Mountain Museum from May 24th till May 26th.
